What was most inspiring about the Hogai project?
Working on visualizations of pretty things is inspiring in itself. From the beginning of the Hogai project, I was surrounded by good design and the positive people who created it – what more could you want?
What are the most difficult moments in building space in visualizations?
It is difficult to identify one most difficult moment. Every element of the work is crucial. From selecting the right inspiration for the project, creating high-quality 3d models, mapping out all the materials, setting the right lighting, ending with selecting the right tone mapping. Visualization work is actually several separate professions condensed into one: interior designer, computer graphic designer and photographer.
Does AI help or not necessarily in the work of building virtual worlds?
Undoubtedly, AI is changing the outlook in our industry. Some people have concerns about whether it will replace their work, but we will not stop progress – this was the case with many inventions that now surround us all around us and now we cannot imagine life without them. I think we need to learn how to use them in our work, because it gives many new opportunities. AI is not only generators of images from a short text description, but also an amazing help of artificial intelligence in editing images or video. Nowadays, I can’t imagine working without AI-equipped tools, for example, for almost lossless enlargement of graphics, photos. We are just at the beginning of the development of this technology and it is already amazing!
