Some things start with a plan. It all began with a single line. A single, hand-drawn line that wasn’t perfectly straight. And that’s exactly why she was more interesting.

Two women. Two brands. And quite different ideas about what a house should look like.
HOGAI specialises in the engineering of joy, the art of colour – the kind that enters a room first and lingers in the memory for a long time. For years, MOANA has favoured nature, linen and everything that is a little slower, more authentic and stands the test of time.

One might think that these two worlds would pass each other by. One is walking barefoot across a meadow. The second one is wearing something a bit more daring, arrives at the opening. And yet they found themselves sitting at the same table. Next to the flax.
And it was from this shared fascination with linen, nature, quality and good design that the GRID COLLECTION was born.
Out of respect for craftsmanship. Out of a love for natural fabrics, because nature is alive, full of joy and wonderful colours. Sometimes it’s pink. Sometimes blue. Sometimes sage.

LINEN HAS CHARACTER. AND I’M NOT TRYING TO HIDE IT
Len doesn’t like to rush. It’s not because it takes a long time to grow. Because good things take time.
From the natural fibre to the finished fabric, every stage matters – drying, scouring, breaking, carding, spinning and weaving. It is precisely this process that gives linen a quality that cannot be designed from the outset. He’s got character. It isn’t perfectly smooth. It doesn’t pretend to be something it isn’t. It has its own structure, its own history and its own way of settling on the bed.
It softens over time. With every wash, it becomes more refined. With every night that passes, I become a little more yours. We have made GRID from 100% heavyweight Polish linen, which combines a natural texture with exceptional comfort.

FABRIC THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE WHEN IT’S CLOSE BY
There are things that help us relax even before we’ve had a chance to lie down. Linen has precisely this quality. Its natural texture and pleasant weight give a sense of comfort — just like your favourite blanket, which you return to after a long day. But linen also knows when to give you a moment to breathe.
It naturally regulates temperature and humidity, which is why it works well all year round. In summer, it gives a pleasant feeling of coolness. In winter, it helps to maintain a comfortable temperature.
It doesn’t hold back what doesn’t need to be held back. It doesn’t overheat. It’s not overwhelming. It simply works well with the body. Perhaps that is precisely why, for generations, we have chosen it for the things that are meant to be closest to us.

GRID began with a hand-drawn line. Not because of its perfect geometry. It all starts with a gesture. From the movement of the hand, which gave the pattern a natural rhythm. This grid is not a cold, mathematical arrangement. There’s something more human about it – a sense of lightness, freedom and a touch of imperfection. Because the best things don’t always look as though they’ve been drawn with a ruler. Sometimes it’s precisely because of this that we feel they’re made for us.

The colour of the open sky. Light, fresh and airy. It’s like that moment after the rain, when the air feels fresher and the world slows down for a moment. Sky Blue adds a sense of space and tranquillity to a room, but it is neither cold nor aloof.
